D. Tuan Tony Nguyen
Tuan is a business advisor ACSBDC supporting clients in corporate finance, entrepreneurial services and restaurant/hospitality businesses.
Tuan worked for Fortune 500 banks for more than 10 years, such as JPMorgan Chase; World Savings, Centex Homes, Resource Capital, and Imperial Capital Bank. Prior to banking, he was an engineering manager at Siemens; Megatest, and Alps Electrics. Tuan is also an entrepreneur who has been in business for himself for more than 25 years. His specialty is the beverages and food industry. He is a brewer and developed brands, and was involved in joint ventures with Sierra Nevada Brewery and now at Anderson Valley Brewery. He was also into bakeries, ice-creamery, and restaurants operations.
Tuan’s 30 plus years of business and work experiences took him from startups to on-going concerns, so he understands the nuts and bolts of many aspects of operations, from concept to reality. His hands-on approach along with depth and practicality helps business owners to gain insights into what works and what’s theoretical.
Tuan has a degree in Electrical Electronics Engineering Technology from the City College of San Francisco and Computer Science and Operations Research from Stanford University.
