Technology Program
SBDC Technology Adoption Program
The Technology Adoption Program (TAP) is a program of the Northern California Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network, www.norcalsbdc.org, that receives funding from corporate partners and from the US Small Business Administration. Assistance is available to small business owners' in over 40 locations throughout Northern California and online.
TAP provides technology solutions to entrepreneurs and business owners from Silicon Valley, the greater San Francisco Bay Area, and rural Northern California. Since its inception in 2001 TAP has offered free consulting, low cost training and tools to hundreds of growing businesses in our region, with a focus on positively impacting the SBDC clients' bottom line.
If you are a business owner in Alameda County and think that you would benefit from the assistance of a TAP Business Advisor, please submit an online request using the Alameda County SBDC’s Online Request for Services Form. Please note in your request that you would like to ask for a referral to the Technology Adoption Program. If you have any questions about submitting a service request, you can call the Alameda County SBDC at (510) 208-0410.
If your business is in the Bay Area of California, but lies outside Alameda County, you need to contact your Local SBDC, and ask them for a referral to the Technology Adoption Program.
If you would like to learn more about the TAP program, or see a list of the business technology seminars that they offer, please visit the TAP Website: www.sbdctap.org
